There are no tools needed to remove the fuel rail cover.
Just pull back at the top and it will pop off. The most time consuming part
of polishing the fuel rail cover is removing the old paint that is on it.
I use 40/100/220/400 grit sandpaper in that order. Once the paint is removed
a grinder with a buffing wheel will make short work of the cover. From removal
to finish, this should take around 2 hours. For

The same thing can be done to the turbo heat shield in about 30 minutes.
