To start you have 8 rivets to cut, 4on each end of the bumper in the
wheel wells.
I found
them to be easier to cut than drill because I did not want to remove my
wheels.
Push the rivet through after cutting. It should fall to the ground.
You have 2 torx screws on the drivers side behind the bumper
grill that you get to from under the bumper
You have 2 screws on the passenger side also on either side of the tow
hook
Now for the middle. You have 3 screws there. You get to those through
the intake part of the bumper for the intercooler. You can not get to
them from underneath because of the shroud for air flow. Remove front
plate also.(if you have one)
Also in the middle of the bumper are pressure clips. You pry those back
toward the intercooler from underneath the car to release the bumper.
Start pulling the bumper away from one side.
Work your way
around until you get the bumper off.
Now that you have the bumper off, time to get the bumper grills also.I
used a small flat head screw driver and pushed on the grill with my
other hand to release it.
Time to put the R bumper on. I started putting the bumper up to the car
and snapping the middle in first and working my way around to the
sides. Make sure you have the lip in the center opening lined up with
the pressure clips. If not you can pry the bottom part of the bumper
back a little to get them in after you snap the top part in.
Time to put the trim clips (or rivets) on both sides of the bumper and
install your bumper grills.
Here is the bumber post installation. If you're not having
the
car painted any time soon you should have the bumper painted before you
install it. Expect to pay around 200 dollars.
