850 S/V/C 70 Turbo Oil Return Line
From Bay 13

Above is an example of the turbo oil return line leaking oil down the back of the engine. The green circle is where the return line enters the block. An "O" ring/sealing ring part number 1397775 begins to not seal and the oil leaks out, runs down and gets blown back on the bottom of the car. The above leak is not bad I have seen much worse. To correct the problem, replace the "O" ring and the green gasket on the other end of the pipe, part number 3514546.

Above shows all components involve with the repair. Note the oil on the bottom of the Turbo, this is very common and I see it on every Turbo I put into the air. To start the repair, remove the brace/clamp by removing the 10 mm nut at the yellow arrow. The two green arrows are pointing to two hex bolts that have to be removed. Once the two hex bolts are out you need to force the top section back between the piping that is there, don't be afraid to force it, once it clears the pipes you can lift the tube out of the block. Remove the "O" ring from the block, remove the green gasket from the bottom of the turbo. I put the "O" ring on the Turbo line with a little clear RTV and get it seated in the block and then force the top back into place. ( Be careful not to pinch the "O" ring in the block. ) Now you can put the green gasket in place on the top of the line and secure the Hex bolts, reinstall the brace between the pipes and you are done. Clean off the oil to make sure this was your only leak.
