Performance wise, this detector is definitely in the top tier. Is it better than an Escort 8500 or a Valentine V1? It's very hard to say, as every test I have seen seems to say something different than the test before. What I have been able to conclude is that about all top level detectors perform nearly the same.

Tazzo has obviously spent some time developing a very useful product with wide spread applications. Ignoring the finish aspect, this meter is an amazing device. In the past there have been many times where I was not sure I felt an improvement, or I was not sure if I was trading top end performance for lower end power. With the aid of this meter though, those questions are easily answered.

With the cost under fifteen dollars at most auto-stores, I consider this to be a good investment if you lose your old cap. The reason I originally looked into this cap was because the OEM hanger, which the original cap hangs from during refueling broke off. While this cap is useful, I would not consider it a time saver. It falls more into the category of convenience, or peace of mind knowing you will never drive off with your cap on top of your car, or set off a check engine light from not tightening the cap properly.

The deep scratch part of the kits works much like crayons for metal.If your car is a primary color this kits works great, other wise do not bother.The kit does make down to the metal scratches much less noticeable. Obviously it can not do anything for the texture but it does do wonders to return the color, and is semi-permanent At around $20.00 USD I found it well worth it.
