Top of the line lighting for your Volvo. Lights don't come much brighter than these.

To install these lights, minor modifications have to be made to the light housing. Due to the bulk of the new wiring harness a .5" x .25" piece of plastic must be removed. Also with the new harness the back covers can not be put back on the lights. This should not pose any problems, due to location .

Everything in the kit is very robust. The only area where I could recommend improvement is on the wiring extension that goes from the cars harness to the ballast. A 9006 connection on both ends would have made the kit look more complete. Other then that, with a wire loom and some zip ties this kit looks very professional when installed.

Performance: 9
The concern I hear voiced the most with these kits is glare. There is a marked improvement in both the amount of light and the quality of light. As for the glare issue and on coming drivers, there should be minimal concern if installed properly. With properly aligned headlights the beam pattern remains the same only the amount of light is altered. If you are looking for better visibility on dark roads, or have a hard time driving at night, then this is the upgrade for you.
