This upgrade changes so many parameters its hard to rate. The changes are all positive but are too numerous to go into in any depth. I would say the only drawback of this upgrade is the possible voiding of the factory warranty. If you are off warranty and your car is in good working order I would suggest giving PES a call. As a side note, this will put added stress on the vehicle. With that said it is in your best interest to pay even more attention to regular vehicle maintenance.

Installation went smoothly since it modified the original ECU. Despite the ease of installation, the instructions could have been a lot more explicit. The instructions should be less generic and more explicit for the vehicle it is being installed in. The instructions I received had instructions for a triptronic control unit which my car does not have. I think instructions that were more vehicle specific would have been better. Performance: 10
The car definitely runs a with higher boost after chipping. Most gains are felt in the mid to high rmp range ,which is most likely due to turbo lag. With that said, there is more torque across the powerband. Pick up is much more pronounced and you get the feeling that you are in a sports car not a four door sedan. Most people will welcome the sporty characteristics like this in their car. I will report any change in fuel consumption in the future.
