Tazzo Performance Meter

This device ranks up there with EGT and boost gauges. The information it can provide you in invaluable. Tazzo has obviously spent some time developing a very useful product with wide spread applications. Ignoring the finish aspect, this meter is an amazing device. In the past there have been many times where I was not sure I felt an improvement, or I was not sure if I was trading top end performance for lower end power. With the aid of this meter though, those questions are easily answered.

Fit: 9
The optional mounting bracket is a very good investment. Unlike traditional radar detector style mounts, this configuration is amazingly rigid. With a slight modification most radar detectors can be mounted directly below the Tazzo unit. Usually I am weary of "optional brackets", but in this case I consider it money well spent. My only thought was a snap in style retaining system would be an improvement over the hook and loop method it uses now.

Finish: 4
An excellent product, but the one area where there is room for improvement is the finish. The unit feels almost science project like. If Tazzo just improved their packaging, they would have an outstanding product.

Performance: 10
All the tests results were very consistent. The one exception was the horsepower test. While most runs fell within a 15 hp window, once in a while I would get stray results well out side that window. All other tests were always within a very tight window. With that said, I was even able to detect minor modifications like tire, or intake changes.
