VDO Exhaust Temp Gauge

Long before you even consider an exhaust temperature gauge (EGT) you should have a boost gauge. If you are running several modifications and are worried about leaning out, this is a great tool. As with all gauges, you have to know what you're looking for before they can be of any help.

Fit: 7
VDO's new "Spin-Lok" mounting system can be a blessing or a curse. While the system is very easy to use and offers great security, it is also much bulkier. Because of this, some mounting locations are very difficult to work with. VDO was very complete in providing all of the needed sensor mounts, however they do not provide the connectors for the gauge itself. Click here for installation instructions.

Finish: 9
The finish on the gauge and sending unit is great. They even included heat shrink tubing already on the wires. The electrical connectors on the back of the gauge are a little awkward though.

Performance: 10
The information this gauge provided can be priceless. Within 2 minutes of driving, the gauge should come up to temp and started relaying its information to the driver. The lighting on this gauge is also very bright which makes it great at night.
