Well, i figure I should start a theard about my car.. so here it is.

Many of you know, i bent several rods with the 19T. This was back in 2004. I ended up having the motor built locally which was quite the experience for me. VMS pistons & rods were used, the head was ported/polished, arp head studs blah blah blah..

The car..

a few pics from the build..

I ran the new motor with the 19T for almost a couple years now. Over that time, i've been slowly buying parts.

The setup:

B5234T3
Eagle rods
Ross pistons
Balanced rotating assembly
Arp headstuds
Ported/polished head
3 angle valve job
NA cams
Spec stage 3 clutch
S60R exhaust manifold
GT35R (.63/.70 A/R)
Precision 600hp intercooler
NA throttlebody
2.5" intercooler piping
3" turbo back exhaust
Siemens 630cc injectors (saturated)
Walbro 255lph
Tial 40mm wastegate
Tial 50mm blow off valve
Nira i3+ EMS

I will run on 10-12psi for the first year or so because I am still using the dualmass flywheel with the Spec stage 3 clutch. After that, I plan to drop in a singlemass flywheel, Quaife LSD and a stonger clutch at which point I can turn the boost up smile.gif

The car is now off the road for the winter turbo upgrade smile.gif

19T was the first to come off, as was the stock IC and the BSR exhaust.

19T and GT35R:

Precision intercooler mocked up:

S60R manifold and new turbo mocked up. The turbo will end up sitting higher as I only had 8mm studs to mount it and the hole in the turbine flange and a fair size larger.

It's close to the mount, but like i said, it will sit a bit higher after final install.

I had originally planned on having a tubular exhuast manifold made, but ended up using the S60R manifold to save myself some headaches. I still wanted to run the external wastegate so I switched over to a 5 bolt turbine.

4 bolt:

5 bolt:

Installed the Innovate WB02 and XD16 gauge:

Siemens 630cc injectors:

New coolant lines and fittings:

GT install kit. I'm hoping I will luck out and be able to use the stock return line, but we'll see.

Oil feed setup:

Next step is to run the IC piping and drop in the NA cams. The 3" exhaust/external wastegate setup is being fabbed locally after I get all this other stuff done.

Tuning.. yes I know someone's going to ask... is still up in the air. Nira is a possibility if the budget permits.

I currently have a dualmass flywheel and spec stage III clutch installed. I have purchased a T5R singlemass flywheel but am still on the hunt for a good clutch. I will stick with the dualmass for a while and just keep the boost down until I can find a clutch and get my hands on a LSD. That way, it can all be done at once and then I can crank the boost up.

That's about all I got right now.

Pics of the motor build can be seen through the link in my sig.

Mark

I also want to thank Joseph (JHEIII874T5M) for hooking me up with great deals on a lot of these parts. If you guys need quality stuff, this is the man to talk to. Great guy to do business with.

Ah, one of, if not the biggest reasons I got the black T5M is now going to convert itself into a beast. Mark, best of luck with everything! Looking good, big man, looking good.

The collar/clamps look alright if done correctly. It's either just a hose clamp, or i put the collar on.. i'm going to put the collar on.
