Just finished my fIrst week of driving a Volvo.
I just bought a 2004 S60R/auto ( I wanted the 6 speed but the wife may have to drive it soo...) It is still a freakin' blast to drive and the look on the faces of the kids with the chipped-out Hoda Civics with the coffee can exhaust as I drive away form them at the light is priceless... what a sleeper this car is.

I did the research and found that this model is a bit more to own per mile (+/- .70), the reliabiltiy, safety, and performace are comperable or better than any of the oher cars in this class, for about a third less dollars.

At 64,000 miles I have a concern about the 60,000 mile service
This was a one owner car that came with most, if not all, of the service records. But there is no record of the 60k service being done. I have the original owners name, addy, and phone number from the back of the owners manual, but I am hesitant to call and ask about the car and the last service.

My questions are;
Is there a way to tell if the 60k service has been done?
Are there any items or issues to look out for with this model?
I live just north of Baltimore, MD, any members and/or events in my area????

thanks for the info.
