Wheel Spacers

Im looking on some info on wheel spacers. I have 18" peggs on my 98 V70R and its lowered. My inner parts of the tires are getting destroyed. For the rear i have 10mm spacers but there still rubbing on the inner fender liner nuts (which im totally removing) All four fenders are getting rolled but it seems like i need maybe 15mm in the rear and 10mm up fronts.

My question is were can i get decent spacers (15mm) and will I need longer bolts

Also, has anyone had issues with thins on a V70R?

Whatelse To Replace While Replacing Shocks?

Hello,

I got Koni FSD sport shock kits, which came with Eibach springs as a set.
Is anything that I need to change when I do the job?
What parts can I reuse from the stock shocks?
How hard is replacing shocks? I have replaced Saab, Acura, and Subaru, but this is my first time for Volvo.
If you guys can give me any advices, that would be great.

I got those upper mount for free. They are made in Germany.
Are they good one?

Seat Swapping?

Hello All,

I just got my hands on a set of 98 V70R Black Seats. actually got a parts R because a tree fell on it in a storm, totaling the car. tear.

I currently drive an 850 with non-electric, fabric seats, they're heated, but that's it.

I want to put the R seats in the my 850, but am not sure what is the easiest way to go about this...

I really don't want or need electric tilt seats... can i strip the leather off of the R seats and put it on my old seats without making a big deal of it?

any advice helps,

So i would like to open a dialog and get some feedback. I have recently decomissioned my 2001 Volvo S60 T5 as she needs a little work. I was thinking it would make a nice foundation for a project and make it an autocross or track day car with a little massage. The info on the car as it sits is below. I am looking for sound tuning input and modifications. Motor rebuild with HP increase and performance parts, Beefing up the trans etc.

Tki End Links - Which Ones?

Yo yo,

My end links are popping, so I'm biting the bullet and gonna grab some TKi end links. Just confused as to which ones to get:

http://www.tkimotorsport.com/870-endlinks

or

I like the race ones because they look prettier (which is important in a race car), but I'm a little concerned about the website saying that they might make noise over time. Any suggestions? Car is lowered with IPD springs and has koni yellows on it.

Tire Question

Who has used 245/40/18s on their S70? I have a set of them by Vredestein - called the Ultrac Sessanta's . Its a better tire than PS2 and I just cant say enough about them. So Im hoping they will fit? My Fenders are getting rolled also, so that will help of course. Rims are TDR 1.2s - 8 inch wide - 40 offset. I have to add that Im not a 100% on the offset as it says 40 on my bill, but I thought I got a 45 offset.

No Power To Aftermarket Head Unit After Theft

My aftermarket head unit was stolen out of my car a few months ago. It was fully working, no problems. It appears the person just pulled the old stereo out and left all of the wires in the car. I disconnect everything and hooked it up to my new head unit's wiring harness and now I have absolutely no power. I tested the new unit by putting the wires on the positive and negative on the battery and it powered on immediately. Does anyone have any suggestion on how I should troubleshoot this?I don't have a multi-meter right now but I have a feeling I should buy one.

Please let me know where to start. Thanks!
