You need one for each side.

Ok, I will go slow for you Erik laugh.gif

when you add "1" to your cart and pay $109.xx

you will get TWO endlinks in the mail. I have called them down in Houston and they confirmed this.

they change them all the time, just like lots of race parts. IMO open spherical joints blow on road cars unless you like to change them.

yes they are indestructible. rolleyes.gif monkey.gif

all I'm saying is that i have had heims on my DD truck (same suspension as in picture) for 3 years now, i go offroad all the time(mud, snow, dust, dirt) no problems at all. many people run them for years and years and have 0 issues.

bottom line there are better heims out there you just have to pay for it.
(hence the link i attached)

shaun: +1 on adjustability

I never took people's money and ran. I use google checkout and my policy is that I would never charge you until I had the part made. Please don't spread these lies. Customers can place orders, but are never charged until I hit the charge button.

yah this club is fun, lots of plaster work in the ol' house getting done.

I liked Tom's links while they lasted, that was only ~3500 miles but they felt better than stock.

You can't really blame him for the failure b/c they are just stock BMW tie rods with a bit trimmed off.

Why don't you just buy a PAIR online for like $40?

I'm going to put new SS rod-ends on mine and be done with it.

How did they fail? What is done to the BMW links to make them usable other the the spacer?

The boots just cracked and once they got some dirt inside ended up loosey-goosey and started clicking.

The ends of mine looked kinda rough, like the were trimmed down or shortened a bit. Could be wrong though.

The boot problem was a previous supplier which i have ditched. The current boots are much thicker and more durable.

The shaft itself has to be turned down from where the threads start in order to have a straight shaft. They come completely conical from the the threads on, just like the ball joint on our control arms.

Granted that I'm not driving my '98 Wagon at the moment but I ran Tom's endlinks all summer from the manual swap onwards and liked them (about 1 month and 4,000 miles). No issues. I hope you can make some more of them.

Parts are here. Took a few seconds to put things together, I'll do a final assembly with anti-seize when I have more time, and put them on the car biggrin.gif

I am considering buying vendor status for a year and selling them, under two conditions:
1. I am satisfied with how long they last, meaning I wouldn't even think about selling any for at least a year
2. Enough people are interested. The more people want them, the cheaper I can make them. $60 for a set isn't out of the question, and that's with me taking a bit off the top for my time, plus shipping

That said... I did buy enough parts for 2 sets, mainly out of concern for #1 tongue.gif
