Bought several things from you guys. Hope you can continue with the competitive pricing.

I picked a pretty circuitous route and arguably cheated slightly, but I'm going to get there

I've always liked yous guys customer service. The only reason I don't order from ya 100% of the time is that I wish you stocked more OEM Volvo parts on the website instead of the brands like Scantech, etc.. Oh yeah, and you should sell more Saab parts too wink.gif .

FYI,

Our inventory is more comprehensive than many realize. We use 6 of the of largest European automotive parts vendors in the United States (Worldpac, SSF, Ramac, IMC, ESI, Northside), two Volvo Dealerships (Secor in New London, CT and Chase Parkway in Waterbury, CT), 30 smaller niche vendors in the USA, and about 10 vendors oversees that we directly import and export to.

We will start a thread shortly on the difference between Genuine, OEM, OES, OEA, and Aftermarket- There is a difference which I have stated before and will state once again so it is not misused.

Genuine Volvo = Genuine Volvo Blue Box

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer (In the manufacturers packaging such as Sachs/Boge or INA)

Welcome to VolvoSpeed. You are probably trying one forum at a time, and that is an understandable goal. I'm certain that the Turbobricks community would also welcome you with open arms.

The prototypes for the website look great; I can already understand the design better than 1.0.

I've been buying from FCP for at least 10 years, and have almost always had extremely successful transactions. Along with another company in Portland, I always recommend FCP to my customers (I buy/sell/fix Volvos as a serious hobby/addiction) as one of the best suppliers of parts. So that whole word of mouth thing must have been working.

Congratulations on your success and many of us here are glad to be a part of that!
Yes, I'm a newbie to VS, but not to Volvos. I have been driving Volvos for over 20 years. I've also been buying, selling, fixing and parting out Volvos for at least 15 years. I specialize in the RWD models from '75 - '95, but am becoming more familiar with FWD models from '96 - '01.

You can also find me on Turbobricks under the same screen name.

it's about time you two.

i ordered most of my parts for the rebuild from FCP a couple of years ago.....

not to mention other parts on several occasions. I've also had some warranty returns that have always been handled no questions asked.

I know I emailed Nick about supporting some of our meets a couple of years ago also, so hopefully this time you guys can come through if we ever have any more sponsored meets

Good stuff! Good to see another big name on VS.

Nick made my manual swap a breeze with parts sourcing by offering VERY competitive pricing and awesome service.

I've been ordering from FCP for almost 10 years as well and have nothing but a positive experience. The first couple of years it seems lie I was on the phone with nick at least once a week ordering parts for my new found(at the time) passion in volvos. Glad to hear Nick is still there as I've been ordering online for the past few years.

Looking forward to a more comprehensive and user friendly website too.

Welcome to the community!

With that kind of access to affordable parts I hope you drive a Volvo wink.gif

Not quite sure yet.

Right now we have our hands full with current projects.

  • Trying to source Volvo Tools
  • Additional Genuine Volvo/ OEM Products to the website (Genuine Volvo PCV Kits and TB Kits)
  • Live Tech Support - Available on Phone , will be available on Web 2.0 as a live chat feature
  • Web 2.0 Coming Soon
  • Search Engine Optimization
  • Adding products to the rest of our European Car Line (yes we do more than Volvo)
  • Working on the Blog
  • Working on a new website that may revolutionize the DIY / Auto Part Industry (top secret)

Along with a laundry list of about 40 other things! cool.gif

Tools and Accessories may come, not right now though.
