This is a beautiful thing. Its also good to see someone with infinite patience doing things the right way and not just throwing money at the work.
Totally impressed.

Excellent complilation! This thread seems to lack all the drama involved with that 20g install though hahah!

out of curiosity... why the larger throttle body if the pipes all leading to the TB are smaller diameter? Seems that the larger TB inlet is useless without the appropriate diameter increase of the rest of the piping leading to it??

I don't know the math/volume/flow, whatever - you would think it would cause a pressure drop, & delayed response and maybe it does on low-flow turbos- but, it feels very responsive with the 19T & 20g setup. I don't know if running 3" all the way from the turbo would make any difference - the outlet of these turbos is still only 2", so if there's gonna be a drop, it will occur in any event.

Believe me when I tell you I have absolutely no desire to part with it! Finding any other wagon that pulls the way this does, handles the way it does, just ain't happenin'. The bottom line is I love my wife, and want to stay married! Logic & rational thought do not enter into the equation!

We'll see what happens after Carlisle...

just need to add the groove for early ('00) shifter - spaceball shift uses a totally different attachment method

Posted Image

Ball Stud for earlier (-'00) cables is larger OD - I had to cut the ball off the old shifter, drill it out & braise it onto the tailgate stud I am using...

This thread put a smile on my face buddy. It's a good record of your car from start to "finish" and definitely will be an inspiration for the future.
