I will bring my torque wrench and my autocross box full of tools and stuff. Maybe Chris can bring his air pump?
Should I bring the spare radiator?
Btw, just checked the weather down there. Low 90s today, but it will cool off tomorrow and be down in the mid 70s for the show. Same with Thunderhill on Monday. There are some showers in the forecast for Tuesday in Willows, so hopefully those won't push up to Monday. Of course, if it does rain, the NWC moves to group C to school these Californians on how to drive in the rain.

Case of water
Granola bars
Air pump.
Weed killer bottle (filled with H2O for intercooler and tires - George those falkens will get really greasy in hot temps. on autocross days in the high 70s I water them down for the third run)
Tools to change over brake pads
set of front brake pads
Griots detailing travel kit
SUNSCREEN
HAT
Driving Shoes
Chairs
Helmet
Coconut Candy.
Tire pressure gauge
Music
Probably some other stuff too I haven't sat down to think about it yet

And not even a hint as to what the problem might be?

Good call on the chair. I always forget that one, even though it is right by the door ready to go.
The sessions on the track are 20 minutes long, so if 2 50 second runs in autocross will make them greasy, I got problems. Could spray them, but there is also 40 minutes between runs, so they will have a chance to cool. A better use might be to spray down the rotors.
I am also bringing another set of pads, but I won't need them. Just need a pair of pliers to change them. Top loaders FTW!!

Not yet. If it's a fuel pump I'm screwed though

It's still a mystery. Fuel pressure is fine, no intake air leaks

Doubtful, I only use Shell or 76 and I've filled up since it began.

What time do you guys want to start? Keep it the same? Carson is riding with me, so I will stop by his place and pick him up on the way down. He is working until midnight tonight, so he will be sleeping for half the trip down anyway.

Carson needs to track his car.

Probably, but he doesn't want to drive since he won't get any sleep tonight.
Unless I hear something by 9pm, I am going to assume the original plan to meet in the Tacoma area around 6:40. I will pick up Carson a bit before 6am.
If you want to leave earlier, let me know. We will need some time to clean the dead bugs off the front of the cars.
We can also meet up with some others for dinner tomorrow night.
Danny, if you get the car fixed tomorrow, get your ass down to Davis! We can squeeze you into the room I have for Saturday night.

It's not gonna happen. I've got 12+ hours into this problem and I'm burnt out. I hate that I can't go but on monday I'm gonna start going after the flywheel and cams to make sure they aren't "walking". With a perspective problem like that a 12 hour drive isn't smart. I guess this will give me time to get my seats and gauge pod done by next year
