Siemens DEKA IV 60lb - 625cc

I'm trying to figure out whether this would be a better bet than raising my base fuel pressure to 4bar with the Volvo greens.

My tune is for 468cc, but that was in conjunction with a KKK24/19T setup. With My 20g, I reckon I could make use of the higher flow @ WOT, and run higher boost w/o dropping the AFR's into the 13's as is the current situation @ 3.5bar/greens.

Any thoughts? Am I likely to simply end up with an overrich overall condition, or does the EMS learn & compensate enough for the extra 175cc under light load conditions?

I'm using them right now.

The ECU will adapt for partial throttle conditions but its quite likely you will get a CEL because it has to compensate quite a lot. It's also going to be quite a LOT richer. 630cc is rated at 3 bar, the 468 is at higher pressure.

You really need to change the tune itself, by changing everything but the tune you'll never get it completely right sad.gif

exactly, you really don't need to run bigger injectors to fix the problem, thats more of a band-aid

you can run the green injectors, just get the tune right and your set. . .

Went ahead & bought these injectors - I'm gonna have to do TurboTuner now (once it's out for ME4.4 rolleyes.gif ) - I want more Powah !

JC - have you posted your experience with TT on the TT forum?

Haven't gotten round to it yet to be honest, been slowed down by the wideband breaking and the car's off the road for a week or 2 at the moment to get some work done (box/clutch mainly)

Bottom line it works excellent, getting the AFR nice and flat takes some time but the functionality is excellent. A map trace function has been added as well as RPM point rescaling so it's getting better all the time smile.gif

Sounds good - since this is my DD - I want to be up & running within a couple of hours - with the understanding that refinements may take a little while... biggrin.gif

that is the same injectors that I use , 630ccm are mine , look for them on mustang forum,. I have 3 left
Build block,93 cams ,precision 5031E ,custom manifold, M56h ,custom 850r clutch, FMIC ,Full exhaust system, recaro seatd,custom 4 pistom alfa BBK , Sway bars and links , Bilstein suspension, Turbo Tuner
Dyno.
Runs like a champ , finally

I can't even remember what i paid. Been using them for a while now with no problems.

I talked to turbo tuner... you can use 4.3 in the 4.4, it'll just eliminate rear o2, sas, and a couple other things tongue.gif

To go along with all this, I finally ordered a new AVC-R ($400, new black face, was the lowest price I could find - now someone will post how they bought it for less than $300, I'm sure rolleyes.gif ), since the JayCar IEBC just won't set up right on my 6 speed. I can't go back to a pneumatic or manual boost controller, they just don't offer the same level of boost control in my experience with highly modded setups.

Well I did buy mine in the VS classifieds about a year ago used for 250$ laugh.gif but for a new one 400$ is about as good as you can find. They aren't cheap.
