I have a 1995 volvo 850 wagon. there is not a factory roof rack on it.
I just bought a roof rack, bike rack, clam shell case and luggage rack for the roof.
But I think there are a couple of parts missing.
Does anybody have a photo of the bike rack assembled and on the car?
Something doesn't look right the way i have it set up.
And of course the lady who was selling the roof rack was no help as the rack was her husbands and he was out of town.

Me again.(diidn't realize I wasn't logged in)
I should also add. that it is a stand up type bike rake.
A tray or trough for the tires to sit in and a holder bar for the frame of the bike.

Can you post any photos? I have the Volvo rails on my 850 wagon and two Thule cross bars that support all the accessories. Before that, I had a Thule roof rack with cross bars for the accessories. If you post some photos, I bet someone here can tell you what you need to do. What looks wrong?

I just bought a used 850, no factory luggage rails. So I guess I'm in the same boat. I'll let you know what I find, rails on ebay are +/- $100, curious as to the install. Looking at the top of my car I just can't see how...Once those are on, a variety of racks will work. Does anybody know about installing factory rails?
