IIRC, the pink sticker early LH2.4 ECUs were for the most part unreliable.
If replacing the fuel ECU on an '89 or newer 240/740/940 (non turbo) with LH2.4, I would strongly suggest trying for an ECU from a non turbo '92+ 940, they eliminate the need for the cold start injector, add in the option for ECU control of an electric cooling fan, and in my personal experience, provide better power, throttle response and fuel economy. Just make sure it says Bosch on it and not Siemens which is Regina and not at all the same animal.
