well the bottom spring seat i have screwed all the way DOWN, should it be up?... i lost about 600lbs, an i have 17" volans

It should be up. Shorter spring = shorter ride height. I can lower mine so low enough that you can't see an inch of tire top or more. : )

And Ipd is definetly not shorter than Kw's and they are a bith too soft in the rear But I have read that Kw is notorious for softer in rear setup.

With coilovers you don't change the length of the spring, you change the height of the perch. It should be all the way down.

if it's still too high....do the Johann trick and cut a coil.

Yeeehawwwww

If you need to go lower do it right.

This is a self made setup using KW race springs. The perch is on top because the axle rotates away at max travel. Using a longer perch at the bottom could cause the spring to interfere with the perch.
At the bottom there's an aluminum non adjustable perch which is just large enough to hold the spring in place. Also the shock is mounted higher else the spring can fall out at full travel.

Same idea as Chuck was offering only in this case standard race springs are used instead of 4" diameter springs.
