I had a rubbing problem with my 205/55's up until the other day. bfg traction t/a's, they came with the car when I bought it.

They were rubbing against the lip of of the fender on turns, making a real shitty sound. I had a feeling that my spring seats and mounts were toast, so I replaced them. Problem solved, no rubbing since. I also replaced my inners and outers, along with a new control arm that was on its way out.

But, I'm still going to put a set of 50's on it, and use the 55's for the winter when the roads magically go to hell.
