I'd give it to Dave for awhile, so it would double in value after six months.

I picked a pretty circuitous route and arguably cheated slightly, but I'm going to get there

FYI I am not selling the car, this is just to prove chuck wrong.

The car has a professionally rebuilt engine (head included) with new OEM internals, OEM seals and rings, and RSI rods (7k on engine). Low mileage trans (100k) and turbo (50k). All hoses/gaskets/belts are OEM and new. New OEM Brakes. New OZ rims with newer tires. All mods included (exhaust, intercooler, boost controllers, etc). Brand new suspension w/ ipd springs and koni yellows. Brand new OEM suspension components. Paint is in excellent shape (outside of front bumper which needs a respray). Body has a total of 3 pinky-nail size dings. Interior is MINT. 200k on body.

Car is taken care of meticulously. Washed once a week, interior cleaned and leather conditioned weekly as well. Oil changed every 3k miles with Mobil 1 synthetic and Mann/Volvo filters.

LOL. I can buy a T5R off ebay for 2k and have it repainted for 2k and buy a built engine and still be well under 7k with new paint and a new engine. All with matching VINs :P

If you are doing all the work then sure. But for everything that has been replaced on my car along with the condition that its in, its worth more than 7k IMO. I think I could get ~9k from the right person. (i.e. enthusiast)

This poll won't give a proper readout of what people actually think.

I think a considerable amount could be had from an enthusiast as you said Adam. Unfortunately to the average person it wouldn't be so quick to happen but if selling it to someone who shares the same passion and can appreciate the work and such that has been put into it I think you could end up getting a pretty good figure.

Thats what Scott said with Project 6 and could not even get 13k for it.

Car is actually worth ~3.5k. Enthusiast might pay 5 maybe 6. But only a crack monkey would pay the 9 Adam thinks its worth

I think that 8k would be very likely, and somewhere in between 8-9k would be possible.
