Nice information to have. I'd feel funny about spraying that stuff on my car, but it can't be any worse than leaving it exposed. Definitely interested on how the spray would work with the tape.

Is this stuff safe on plastics also? I assume if it washes off fairly easily off of the metal is one thing, but how does it fair on plastic trim?

I didn't tape off anything around the test area so I had shields on everything including the plastic trim. Washed off fine.
