of course you're going to get torque steer with any big turbo front wheel drive car but tell your friend he has an aftermarket (quality) limited slip differential in it

if he/she is unsure what that means i might suggest new friends....

Brad......http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php/topic/123197-firetruck-pics-by-reid/

Also, the car has a Quaife Limited Slip Differential in it, along with the new bearings and forks, etc. The LSD itself set me back $1350, plus another $500 for bearings and install.....traction is an issue, not torque steer!

Damn, it's been a while man. Dental school is a-o-k. I'm just trying to survive and come back home. I'm not interested in specializing right now, but I'll go wherever the path takes me.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am putting the car back up for sale. Seriously.

I want $16000 for the car, as it is...which is running beautifully, with Turbo Tuner installed. The only thing this car needs now is wiring the speedometer to work, and some TLC on the front bumper.

Car is in Dallas....serious parties only. Car can be viewed anytime. My father can show it. I have instructed him to keep the test driving to a complete minimum, and one round around the block. Any interested party will know by this short drive how the car runs....which is perfectly...no oil leaks, no nothing leaks. Transmission is butter smooth, and everything in the car works fine, including the A/C.....again, the only thing needing attention is the speedometer.

I will also entertain trade offers for an 04 or newer S60R, preferably automatic, and low miles of-course.

Let me know what you have. I may also consider other cars for trade.

Any reasonable trade offers will be entertained...but the car must be 2004 or newer....unless you have a really attractive offer for something older...

If you would have sent the Professor over with a suitcase filled with $12000, I would have sent Project Pras your way lol! Now send me the S60R with the Monoblocks on it, and we can call it even.

Let me just break down some of the money i paid for the car....this will give people an idea of the part-out value of the car....i don't have the time to do that, so whoever pays the asking price is getting an amazing deal...once you own the car, you can do whatever you want with it...of-course i'd like to see it completed, but it's your car....

$8000 and up in the block alone...including turbo, lines, injectors, new sensors, seals, studs, etc
$3000 in the trans including the quaife and new bearings, clutch, etc
$3000 in ICE including the DVD players, sub, amps, speaks, etc.
$2000 in gauges like WBO2, Dpic, boost, EBC, turbo timer
$1000 Turbo Tuner
$1800 Stoptech brakes
$1500 and up for the wheels
$300 or so in spacers
$700 intercooler
$15000 in body work and paint
$700 in seats and headliner
$1500 KW coilovers

and there is so much more that I'm forgetting...especially maintenance....all new pulleys tensioners, belts, oil pump, water pump, evap core, heater core, new A/C sensors....oh the exhaust is about $2000 worth of crap....the list goes on....the speedo cluster and trim rings....roof racks...all the hoses and crap...all the extra parts you get with it....IPD sway bars front and rear...all new control arms, endlinks, strut mounts, spring seats, bump stops, boots etc....stainless steel brake lines....over $1000 in the viper alarm with remote start and door poppers...ipd skid plate...HID's like everywhere....$1000 invested in the headlights and fogs...custom projectors...bixenon..wastegate, BOV, and much more...

I bought the car in June of 2000, and I am the second owner...bought it with around 75k miles on it....currently it has 160k, but engine only has 3k miles on it or less....so does the body basically....odo is showing 157k...the speedo hasn't been working since I put the engine in the car and put in a newer wiring harness...this was in July of 2007...since then, the car has been sitting in a garage in Dallas...driven a maximum of 300 miles a year maybe.....and that's only when I'm home, which is once a year....so you're buying a very fresh car....with a very fresh engine and components....the cost of the car when I bought it was $12000 IIRC...no major accident history...the only dent due to impact was when i was pulling out a driveway with a blind corner, a bicyclist ran into the side and ended up on the hood...fender and hood were replaced....in fact, that impact is what started my final build....you can see that info on the Project Pras thread I've linked over to...pics are provided also....that is the ONLY damage ever done to the car......clean title in hand, clean carfax....original color was pewter/grey....

I put the price back to $16000 after I added up all the crap i put into this car...I really want $20000 for it, but anyway....whoever buys it is getting an amazing machine...there is no way you can spend less than $30000 and get what you're getting out of mine for only $16000.....Like I said the body work alone was I think around $15000 or more....

Thanks!

so, 3 people seriously interested. First to come up with a deposit takes it. I have updated pictures taken 2 days ago. PM me if you'd like me to email them over. Car still runs great according to my dad! He just pulled it out of the garage for the first time in a couple of months. It has been connected to a trickle charger and remote started occasionally!
