The taillights on the concept were so much better. At least the front is much better than what they did to the new c30.

If you squint, the rear 3/4 view looks just like a honda civic. The civic is a good looking car though... but still. That aston martin inspired rear end of the S60 couldn't be beat... it was the best looking backside in town. The square in the tailights don't match any other design elements on the car, they just look out of place. As for the front, it looks like a moose.

So, volvo has managed to make a honda civic look like a moose.

The stance is nice.

Sorry, I realize this design will probably appeal to the masses. But, coming from a company that has had a really unique design in the S60, and that in my opinion was the best looking euro sedan on the market, this is a shocking disappointment.

Volvo is going for a really aggressive and brash look with their new cars, and it's not how their cars are. It's like a sweet softspoken girl showing up to a party with a whip and a black thong.

"Elegance is the presentation of things in their minimum dimensions" There is nothing minimal about the grille.

i have the feeling that this ... thing ... wont be seen on THIS site very much ...
2003 Volvo S60 2.4T - custom intake , catless straightpipe exhaust , everything behind the front seats gutted , more mods to come

-planned final build- changed , will repost soon
