Haven't been driving the XC of late - the X1/9 has become my DD

However, my revamped tune came today! Set for 625cc injectors and my 20g!!! Looking forward to checking it out! (still waiting for TT to release the ME4.4 I paid for back in July)

However... I have to put my car back together first  - I took the pan off so I can update to the newer style w/oilcooler...

Hopefully I'll have time after work tomorrow to put it back together...

All the pieces I show - water dist. pipe & return, turbo oil & water feed lines, oil cooler, new oil cooler hoses, all new seals & gaskets, a bunch of clamps for all the lines.. anaerobic sealer... about $100 in new 'soft" parts

yay! i did this on my S70 as well as a V70 i just built, if you have any questions feel free to ask but its a really straight forward swap. I did eventually put in a new style radiator and thermostat cap though, i needed a radiator anyways.

I wanted to do this with the kit from D s50r but wisely backed-out - I dropped pans b4 and unless there's a more compelling need like sticking lifter noise, I'm not too excited to do it again. I can't seem to find time doing other projects and this would have just added to my things to do on the shelf, lol.

Otherwise, a very good mod for 98 and below cars, specially if the cooler lines start to leak and one has time.

Got the water dist pipe back in this evening - I would NEVER do this job unless I really needed to - it's a royal PITA to get it in with the exhaust/driveshaft/turbo oil&water lines in the way.

Question to Hussein or whoever wants to answer, Is the cooler on the new style pan more effective than the oiler in the radiator on the '98's? If so, by how much?

Can't wait to see hoe your Xc runs now that it has a proper tune!

You're gonna need a skid plate to protect that finish!

Hussein always thinks outside the box. Didn't know you had a less than ideal tune. Are you gonna dyno it soon? Your old one had your ~300whp am I correct?

Finished putting it back together today - I had to re-fabricate the oil feed line to the turbo - the water outlet is exactly in the way of the old style feed pipe routing..

Finished up too late to check out the new tune, but with the ECU & 625cc injectors the AFR's are 11.9 @ idle- waay to rich! Tomorrow I'll have to look it over...

Don't know if it's more efficient functionally - but the package is much tidier!

My previous tune was for 330BHP/440nmTq @20psi on a 19T/KKK24, which is basically what I got out of it - 282WHP 304Wtq @16.5psi on the 20g.
