must just be one of those heart breaker dynos then :P

nice car though, sounds like you have some good plans for it

Ya, they are open about the fact it reads low, in the end, it really is all about 1/4 mile times etc...I'll just be sure to go back to that dyno after my upgrades etc...

This should be a good week for me as I'm off for 5 of the next 6 days, so I plan on getting lots and lots done...hopefully everything swapped back on but the manual... B)
Suspension at a minimum...

oh and thanks for the compliments...

I think the Alpine is great...very happy with it. I use it with my iphone, and apart from it always asking me if I want to work in airplane mode when I plug it in, it's a flawless integration. Everything works perfectly, and it charges which i love given my iphones battery life.
I don't have the bluetooth add-on yet as it's quite expensive...and I've yet to buy into the bluetooth in my car given I don't talk that much in the car, if at all.
I would recommend this deck to anyone, and it actually looks alright in the car, not completely out of place like most aftermarket decks.

Cheers
-Phil

Dave's right I put down 188 at the wheels but that was on a dyno jet and those are rumored to be on the high end. Mustangs are known to be on the low end. But the only thing that really matters is you have a baseline and if you go back to the same dyno you will know your real increase. Glad you got to keep the Black one. I went threw the same ordeal, in the end I basically told them there is nothing in the law that states I can't have the car back so I will not ever settle without keeping the car. I made them an offer 400 bucks less than their last and they said ok you can keep the car....two parts sold later i was up 50 lol. Good luck with the yellow

I seen this car on CL and was tempted as well....its my dream to one day own a Yellow 855. The guy that owned that car previous to the owner you bought it from is a volvo fanatic. He had a few Rs all in mint shape. Congratson the purchase

Lookin' Good!

Glad to hear you got the insurance people to come around - that would have been terrible to have lost all those goodies!

Good to have a WHP baseline to start from-regardless of debate over valid % for drivetrain loss.

The funny part of this story is that I bought Darth from Dave...(the guy you are talking about)...I missed this yellow by 2 weeks last year...

Ok, some great progress this last week.
FSD and Eibachs are in
IPD front and rear sways in
New Starter
P2 Sidemarkers
MSD Ignition
IPD Plug wires
RAM Air Intake
EST Carbon Fiber Strut bar

To busy to take any great shots, and none of the engine bay yet...I know...boo...soon
This is all I have at the moment

Absolutely loving the look and the ride, the FSD/Eibach combo is great as a DD, through the sways in and it's just flat out perfect for me. Massive difference over stock, but not so harsh that no one wants to ride with me...

Next big steps are the r-mani/turbo/DP/Exhaust/WB/MBC/Boost Gauge all at once as it's just easy to do that way. Probably before the end of the month...

Full pictures tomorrow, but I finally got the Wilwood BBK's on...Haven't even had a chance to drive it yet, so no stories to tell...yet...all I can say is that I hate old brake lines...

Rotors are *just* a hair bigger...

I'll be sure to report full "experience" details on these and there performance over time...
