Really nice yellow wagon, and a lot of good mods.

Please let us know your feedback about FSB/Eibach and Wilwood brakes, as I'm thinking about these mods for a long time but can't decided myself.

I like to try before a purchase

Thanks!

And that is an interesting question...does anyone actually know how many Yellow wagons came in to North America? And how many might still exist?

To answer your question : 185 yellow and 719 black over 5000 black and yellow T-5R. (Canada not included).

Some more pictures, late night, dark out, dirty, but you still get the idea.
Also did stainless steel lines at the same time.
Couple hours of normal street driving, and I can absolutely feel the difference, even in stop and go, normal driving. Much "smoother" peddle, with some GREAT stopping power...so nice.

Going to however need spacers when I put the Titans back on for the winter/tires combo...5mm tops, but still required for the 17"'s...

It doesn't...it's one of the "downsides" to this set up...doesn't provide a full sweep of the rotor.

Put some gauges in...
Wideband isn't hooked up yet as I've not put the exhaust in, but it was easier to wire it all up at once.

Still trying to figure out what I should do for my 3rd gauge...AEM has lots of options, and I would prefer an oil gauge, but I've heard it's a PITA on our cars...so I may just do a simple volt gauge, just to fill the spot...

Video of them here:
Gauges at start up, fun to watch

18t showed up today, so I thought I would mock up the turbo with it's new buddy:

Jason, (SPANKY), does good work, this turbo looks amazing...

I'm looking for thoughts on if I should upgrade my injectors? I imagine/hope I'll be pushing north of 270whp with this turbo, and it's my understanding that will probably start to put my injectors at risk...

Thoughts?

What type of injectors would I be looking for if I needed to upgrade? (I'm not looking for more than 290whp with this build I imagine...)

Thanks...

And yes, I love these wheels...LOVE THEM...people can harsh on the "not original", "everyone does it" feedback...but they do belong on these cars...

depends what that tune is tuned for ....

if its just a stock Rica tune regardless what turbo injector combo you wont get where you want.

One main reason I am going with MTE on my XC and such you say I want this level of power they go you need this .

and you chat back and forth and figure a HP you will get .

Granted if your going to do alot of modding TurboTunner might be what you want instead..

I'm not really doing a ton of modding...not anything that is out of the ordinary anyway...

The Rica tune is set for 18psi etc...and ran my 16t @ 16psi just fine with my other mods...(exhaust/dp/rip/)

Do these tunes "learn" at all? Are they capable of understanding new injectors without a retune?

I may go with a retune regardless, or an IPD tune once the manual goes in this spring...

So maybe till then I'll just run conservative boost and keep an eye on my AFR's...

I would say blues or greens. You'll be at the extremes of the whites and its always better not to push extremes when you don't have to.

Car looks good though. I like the black more but hey its still a volvo!

Popped the winters on this morning...
Love having my "winters" be Titans...always hated putting beater stealies on the car...

Tires are 215/45 General Altimax Artics...we'll see how they do when the snow comes...
The titans required 5mm spacers to fit over the Wilwoods, and even then, it's tight...probably 3-4mm clearance at max in various spots.

Can't wait for the 18th to roll around and I start my winter "project" work

Good to know that, only 5mm spacers, calipers request at least 2mm clearance from the wheel, so it's almost perfect.

By the way, very nice car. B)

I'm positive I have 2mm clearance but no more than 5mm, so that's good to hear.

And thanks!

Thanks! I really like the titans, but in all honesty, they pale in comparison to the 18" pegs I run for the summer. (Still, not a bad problem to have for winters)
