My car is making this tinking noise which sounds like it "tinks" every time the belts go around on the engine. I'm not sure about where it is coming as the noise is only there as far as I can tell when the engine is under any load. As for info on how its performing, I just changed the oil and performance-wise the car seems to be normal. Could this be time for a new timing belt or somthing with my header or something else? Keep in mind I do not have the money to go buying random new parts trying to diagnose this, but if anyone is sure of what it could be, I will try to buy it. Also, I can probably also get a video to help out later today.

Thanks

I have 134K miles on it, and I think it was changed maybe a year and half ago. I plan on doing the change myself if it needs it.

How many miles have you put on the car since it was changed? Could be an issue with oil getting to the head.

I'm not sure, but at an idle with the hood open I hear a cliking noise that sounds like it is coming from the header.

So I heard it too. It sounds pretty faint. I was thinking it was an injector. But how does an injector sound compared to a valve?

Ben, we could also pick up a stethoscope and see if it can be narrowed down to a more specific area.
