Thanks for the advice lucky!!!!

I will look into this stuff and into learning more about the car. I'm also gonna start keeping an eye out for exotic bodies. I'm also going to look into getting a turbo b/c everyone here says my car is slow. I thought it was fast==> it got up to 100mph the other day!!! good pickup

lol 1. 100 isnt fast. that is cruising speed on the interstate.
2. it would be a cool idea but way out of your price range, if you are only 17.
3. definitely go turbo
4. start small. if you dont know very much about cars start with simple jobs like spark plug changes, or oil changes. I knew absolutely nothing about cars last year, and just from helping my friend with his car I learned so muchg
i am now volvoless

What is this facepalm stuff??

If I do it I'll def post pics....right now I'm just looking into this. I'm looking for feedback and havn't gotten any?

Better off swapping in a turbo motor, and just have fun with that, or give me the car for free and I'll be sure it gets an "exotic" cardboard body before I rip it off.

1. Agreed.
2. Agreed.
3. Agreed.
4. Not to mention how big of a POS that car was before you got it. I knew more about that car when Clark had it than he did, kid didn't know shit, blew and intercooler pipe off and thought he blew a turbo... Not to mention you're working under Doug who needless to say, has had a bit of experience with Volvos. haha.

Keep the Volvo, swap in a turbo motor or JY Turbo it, drive it 'til it dies then take the wheels off paint the centers gold, polish the lips and sell em for $800... oh wait, wrong fourm. haha.

to the original poster.... Listen man, its your car, do what ever you want with it dude... your 17. have fun. when i was 17 i stole civics and made 10's hop with 3/8 lines. at least your keepin yer self out of trouble. when u ask for an opinion on here ,you will get a mixed message, but its baically peoples personal thoughts. if u want something, just do it and dont let any one else say it. people told me TSX seats wont fit in a 850, yet i enjoy them daily now..in the 850, -they told me TSX headlights wont work in an 850, but they shine quite well. also the bumper i once did people called it a POS but i did it cause people said you cant, and now some one else on this forum is enjoying that very bumper daily. people are always going to hate. but you should get a general idea out of this thread thou... This will cost you a penny.

We need a VSJr.com for this kind of shit though. A place where Cato, Noonan, johnloves850's, Hastings...and all the other youngin's can ask there ridiculous questions. They can debate ideas for there triple filter intakes and wonder is Direct Exhaust Injection the answer for there car. They can also cry about how there parents don't buy them the turbo model and what car they found on CL and that they are going to look at this weekend. I suggest J0E to be the MOD.
