Don't worry about what they say, just don't do it.

You will understand why once you are at the age most of us are here on the board. Trust us I'm sure we are thinking back when we were your age maybe doing something worst than you. Keep your elbow greese and $$$$$$ for something else.

I'd say keep the volvo the way it is , go take a sledge hammer and smash the doors ,front fender or something replacable incase you suck.

ohhhhhhhh stuff im dying!!!!! ahaahahahha. On a serious note, I have no idea how you will be able to throw on anything that looks exotic on a volvo frame. It'll be like completely starting from scratch. Maybe you want a 240 or a mr2...

If you want a real replica then you need to get an mr2. Throw in a v6 or simply just build the engine and upgrade the turbo
just please don't put lame apc bucket seats. Have the original seats or some nice black Recaro roadster seats. It's very doable money wise. But what you're talking about with the volvo is stupid. I'd rather just throw in a ls2(vette engine) and twin turbo it with some nice HRE's and suspension etc and you'll have yourself a very exotic car
