So my supra is broken because it doesn't bounce around because I didn't cut springs and put H&Rs on there instead of cutting my stock stuff? That made no sense to me. The point I was making was general, cutting springs adds bounce. Cutting 1 coil off may not increase it a noticable amount, or it might, either way the results are the same. The stuts/shocks used will increase or decrease this too. The hondas I refer to are the ones a quarter inch off the ground with their tires pointing out and riding on their inner sidewalls. Done right, the bounce doesn't exist, but you can definatly tell who just cut their stuff or who spent money on their suspension just watching it on the road.

It's all personal choice, I personally don't think it's worth cutting springs to get another inch lower, my supra wound up 2.3" lower then stock and I scrape my downpipe all the time and I catch my catback on occasion (3" all the way), if I had to do it over again I wouldn't have used the H&Rs, maybe eibach or something else, however the handling is night and day better. My suggestion is simply install the springs, let them settle, drive around with them for a week or two, if you still want it lower, then take half a coil off, and wait another 2 weeks, if you are OK with the ride, but still want lower, take another half coil off. I wouldn't go much past 1 full coil, though.

If it helps when I got my supra it had stock cut springs on there, I didn't notice the ride until I rode in my then room mate's stock supra, there was more bounce for sure. That got me curious and thats when I found the cut springs (stock struts) and replaced them with the H&Rs and Tokico blues, cleaned it right up.
