Yup. I see too many Colnago and Pinarello's come in every month with dicked up bottom brackets, cracks in the downtube and hosts of other problems. Couple that with the fact there is not a single graphite bike I would even consider buying and even if I did you cannot get them custom made, makes it Ti for the win.

If they really wanted to save weight, they'd ditch the stickers. Every fraction of an ounce counts. ;)

Is the bike dialed in completely or do you like that bar angle?

Pop a chain and some cables on there and get riding!

I only ride in the drops so I leave the bars set ~10 degrees down. Not sure but riding on the hoods or tops makes my ass hurt, so I am only ever up there to drink. I had platform pedals on and got it dialed in as much as I could on the trainer. Waiting on a 11s freehub body which is supposed to be here today.

Saw the pic in the feed at the top of the VS page. Nice picture, nice bike. Definitely jealous, that thing must be night and day from older frames like my Classic.

You running anything that needs ANT+

The ones I usually look at are Cateye Strada, Mavic Wintech, or the Polars.

The Cateye is a tank. Mine has been completely submerged more than once and keeps on ticking after 4000 miles on the MTB. Batteries seem to last about ~2000 miles so pretty good. Cost is also the cheapest at ~55.

The mavic is god like in its own right. Its pick up sensor is in the skewer clamp which means no zip ties. The 2009s were very prone to water damage though. 2010s which will ship in ~4 weeks are a lot better. Our demo is holding up fine to road use. The basic one is ~100 but a lot of people can justify it if you sue the software it comes with. The 2010s will plug directly into your computer and graph all the data for you and lot if automatically. Cost is ~100 for a base model.

The polars are nice for the same reason the mavics are. Clean install but they throw in GPS. Garmin has some decent GPS units but they are all pretty fragile. Polar is a little tougher and ALOT smaller. Cost is ~150 entry level.

With all that said if its for a MTB get the cateye.
