I bought this last year from a member here and decided to leave the ECU controlling boost with my IPD Solenoid. Here is the original thread:

I fixed the burnt wire (cut that section out and re-soldered the wires) so it should be ready to go.

Never tried it out but it seems to be a pretty solid piece of kit and it has a LCD digital boost gauge built in.

No clue. If other EBCs work then I would assume so. Can't say for sure though.
