Got my old cat back replaced after 4 yrs because it rotted out. Added a new muffler because the previous 1 muffler and 1 resonator was too loud at highway speeds. I painted the whole thing with two coats of manifold paint, hopefully this exhaust will last a little longer than the last one.

Super ultimate custom high pownformance. Its just a Lou's exhaust, its a popular exhaust shop in NE, even though they really don't do that great of a job. They did my last one that rusted out. They don't seem to take the time to do a nice clean job but it really depends on which location you go to.

Contemplating a 2.5" IPD/TME exhaust for mine. Someone local is selling theirs.

What size piping do you have on that?

It's 2.25". If you can afford to buy a good exhaust like that, take it. If you want the quality of a production exhaust from an exhaust shop its gonna cost a lot.

lol, i know. i was running sans catback for a few days before i could get my new one on. it sounds gnarly... until your ear drums are bleeding, and you've got a permanent case of tinitis. car has better top end, too.

I was thinking more to paint the mufflers up yellow and the piping pink with purple polka dot pin striping and bunny stickers all over it but i guess that works too.

All that is noticeable from the outside of the car is the tip.
As long as the tip is black something like polished or bare metal, it will look good.

We need a VSJr.com for this kind of shit though. A place where Cato, Noonan, johnloves850's, Hastings...and all the other youngin's can ask there ridiculous questions.
