To anyone who has an M66 in their 850 (I'm guessing you're on the other side of the pond): What passenger CV shaft are you using? The one the seller told me to get ('00+ V70 AWD) is not the right one. It looks like I need to order a '99 V70AWD, and mate that to the 850 one. Thanks.

...That would be correct, Justin.
You need a '98 XC/AWD rights side shaft - can't imagine WTF they were thinking on a later shaft - it has the wrong hub attach design. '98 shaft will bolt right up, the suspension/steering/hubs are the same as '98 (design wise, anyway)
If you're running FWD - you need the spline coupler too, or you'll have a very large puddle of trans fluid

LEFT is for the tranny input works with
99 older 4 speed autos
M56
RIGHT is for 5 speed autos
now that input shaft is the same minus the shaft diamter for the M66 also.
since I would hope we all know the difference betwee awd and FWD shafts

Left AWD Right FWD
granted the FWD is a custom built one for my 01XC but ignore that part
