Given the writing style I thought at first it was the VolvoS60KidsR from Swedespeed at first. But then I saw this guys writing is marginally better!!! Why do you think they call it dope, mang! :arob:

Spend your money elsewhere Hunter, its crap.

I picked a pretty circuitous route and arguably cheated slightly, but I'm going to get there

new turbo, bov, catch can, fmic and all the pipes, couplers and v-clamps to fit doesnt seem all that bad to me but it does look a little chincy to me.

Honestly if you're going to be doing all that stuff, it's probably not a bad purchase. Don't use the turbo (or have it rebuilt), and rinse anything that will have oil or coolant going through it thoroughly with mineral spirits.

The intercooler isn't objectionable and neither is the piping and couplers. Throw the BOV in the garbage.

Is it a Volvo "kit" or "upgrade" ? No

While we're on the topic, one of these chinsy turbos proved not to fit on one of my 850s awhile back, wouldn't even remotely clear the transmission mount. The turbine housing design is quite different than the Garrett housing that allows these sized turbos to fit.

it doesn't look bad to the untrained eye, but take it from people who know at least a little something about modding cars. ebay turbo kits are what you want to use when you don't want to go fast, just look the part. Ask the 6 ebay turbo kit hondas that I put 20 cars on last night.

Most of that stuff is of the lowest grade and quality. It's most definitely a china "t3/t4" turbo w/ a cheap external wastegate and knock off blow off valve. the only thing that would be ok to run is the FMIC since, well it's an FMIC and unless you manage the blow the welds on the end tanks, no big deal and I guess the v-bands are ok.

If you're driving a turbo 850 please just go get a proper stage 0, tune, downpipe and exhuast and you'll beat any ebay turbo kit honda any day. Real turboed hondas get built by shops like my local honda builder that can do this http://www.youtube.c...u/2/M6Y3lk86CC0 and make 500whp.
