Found a beater 240 wagon with rip to shreds seats, I have a parts car 850, can i put 850 seats in the 240? or is there other choices for seats beside the 240 ones? Any aftermarket, race seats whatever, car will be used mostly for snow days and junk.

I searched, but didnt see it and im working, just need a respounce, no bs.

I know 740 seats all but bolt right up to 850 seats ....

People have installed 850 seats, as well as 960 seats, but nothing bolts in the same, the 240 track is much narrower. The 850 seat sits up a bit to high in the 240, the 960 seat would be a better choice. Personally I'd try for some S40 seats, they look narrower than the 960 seat, not sure about fitment.

I did it in my 240... they were s70 manual seats, so the height was not an issue, they have 4-5 inches travel up/down. Here's a link with some pics...i'll take some track pics next time i have my seats out.
