I compared the parts of the auto box to that of the manual box, and these were the only different parts...

Is there a reason why you guys get the entire box instead of just buying and swapping the parts which aren't the same as the auto box?

The stuff that's highlighted is what would need to be ordered....

The frame/box itself is missing a welded on metal part which, I believe, blocks the clutch pedal and holds a spring.

I think the only thing you need to change are the 2 pedals and the clutch return spring. The frame itself looks the same.

Check out this thread. The guy re-used everything else.

The 850 is a whole other deal.

When I did mine I had an 850 brake pedal from an 850 pedal box, ordered a new clutch pedal and return spring for an X70 and and was good to go.

We just installed the newer style 98.5+ clutch pedal with a new spring as shown in your VADIS diagram, brake pedal and that was it aside from hooking up the cruise. Definitely didn't change the whole bracket.

Me: "Yea."

Ditto on that. I just swapped the two pedals & added the return spring pictured.
