Custom Exhaust Poll And Questions

I want to buy all of the components, or most of them on my own(cat, muffler/res., ect.) to try saving money. I know I want to go with Magnaflow products, but my question is what size cat should I get? like how long and such. For muffler, what dimensions should I get? If I decide to get a resonator as well, what dimensions and type should I get. I am probably going to look at some ebay stores that sell magnaflow products and buy from there. If anyone knows any part numbers, can you let me know? Also, what type and what size(length) flex pipe should I get? Where would I be able to find the correct flange for the DP? Also, will I need to get a cat. with the O2 sensors openings built in, or will the exhaust shop weld bungs on the pipe? Will I need any O2 elimiantors, or spacers to avoid CEL's?
Again I want this exhaust to be good for daily driving, but still have a nice note when accelerating. I don't really mind SOME drone, considering I don't drive for long distances. Also, I want to avoid getting bothered by cops. But then again, I baby my car, and I'm not one to go around from stop light to stop light WOT.
Any suggestions will be helpful, thanks.

You need 3" turboback
get the longest magnaflow muffler you can find if you do 1 muffler setup. I am running two 20x6inch (IIRC) mufflers and it's louder than stock, and noticeably louder when pushed.

Get the cat that oni posted. 2 mufflers will make the system just a little louder than stock but still have a nice tone.
Also think about upgrading your exhaust housing on the turbo to an angled flange. It has a bigger opening for more air flow.

Hey do you think you could tell me your exact exhaust setup and the components? any sound clips?

As far as the sound difference no. But its enough to matter to some.

Two short mufflers will probably drone a lot on the highway. Stick with the biggest mufflers you can fit for the straight through type. It's not like they really affect performance

O2 sensors - keep them in the same spot just put a thread-o-let welded where they go. I would also advise you add an extra for a wide band should you want to add in the future.

Why do you keep going back to two short mufflers? If you don't want much drone on the highway, you've got to stick with the largest straight through mufflers you can fit.

Well I want to keep my stock exhaust system intact.
And the guy above says not to do two short mufflers? so should I do a medium sized muffler and a striaght through resonator?
