[atl_c30]

hello all

i own a 07 c30 modd'd a little bit and just joined volvo speed.

yeah i didnt have time last night i made the account at like 1230 i have to run to class but ill just list my mods in this post than copy paste it to my sig when i get back

Exterior - Evolve R5 18x8.5 rims/Heico grill

Interior - Custom A pillar boost gauge pod made by VolvoTista in ATL

Engine - Garret FMIC/ Custom Hot and cold side intercooler piping / Greddy protec type b boost controler / custom 3'' DP / evolve CBE / K&N intake paired with the evolve intake pipe / Power chip custom tune ( waiting on my uni chip ) / HKS BoV / waste gate tweak (cant boost into 4th because it hits me over 18 psi and throws me into limp mode 17 in 1st 2nd and 3rd tho)

Suspension - IPD front end links / evolve sway bar / evolve springs

goal - 350 whp or over...gonna be purchasing bigger turbo new injectors unichip and some other goodies soon so hopefully ill get there (havnt been on dyno yet so have no idea where im at)

the car is a GT (DOH) didnt think i was gonna be using her as a project car buuuuut turns out i will....so swap may be in the near future

Awesome ride and welcome to the site, both c30 dudes , heheheh, PANDA, don't worry, most of us have names for our cars too. The grille looks amazing, nice list of mods you got there. You should get the tune looked at cos we had a few guys here having the same problems on Focus ST, and the turbo doesn't need to go that high into boost cos it's pretty much pushing out hot air after 16-17psi. I think the limp mode thiunk is due to the massive torque spikes they have down low.Really like to see what your putting out at the dyno compared to the 6 speed manual, I wonder if it's possible to get them flashed through a Ford tuner, have a look into it because you can get a custom tune for a little more and all the guys that got em down here are running their cars with alot less stress and more power with much less boost.

thanks for all the info!! very helpfull, as im coming off japanese cars which i could pretty much tune to the c30 which NO ONE can seem to tune

Im gonna have power chip do a full OBDII flash when they come through ATL, i know some of the guys that work there and i can get re flashes for good prices but ill look into the ford tunes

well see thats why its weird i have it holding 17 from 3k-65 in 1st 2nd and 3rd and it pulls strong and than 4th gear it wants to go to 18 and it goes limp...Im not bothered that much cus i pan on throwing on a gt35 with new injectors etc etc....hopefully reaching 350+ mark....i will keep you guys posted

all of my work and stuff is done by the ppl over at volvotista.com (local ATl volvo tuner just opened up) i trust them so i use them haha

also where are you guys in the ATL?? im in duluth (northside) but i attend GA southern so im in the atl very rarely so if anyone wants to get together let me know ill see what i can do
