yesterday while driving on the highway at light throttle my 850r started to bogg out. i had to get really keep my foot on the gas to keep her going. later on in the night it was getting progressively worse. its acting like the car has no fuel in the tank, like when your running out of gas. i just filled the tank yesterday? could this be a fuel pump problem?

this could be fuel related, do you have trouble starting the car now and make sure you can hear the fuel pump, should make a humming noise in the trunk.

yea you should definitely hear the fuel pump make a humming noise when you turn the ignition, don't turn the car on , just turn the key up to where your radio comes on and have all the lights on the dash then listen, getting any codes? i had this same problem with my 850 where it just got worse, would stall and i couldn't even rev it past 2000 rpm's, had to replace fuel pump.

may need to replace it then, you can check the fuel relay, and any fuses as well, you can get a fuel pump for like $20 at a pick and pull yard, new they are like $250.

you actually may not, i don't remember me getting a code, you could get a gauge and check the fuel pressure off of the regulator.

should be 43.5 psi, you can hook it up to the fuel rail , should be a blue cap on the end i believe.

bad maf would usually give you a code of p0102 or p0103. if you disconnect the maf, car should not stall, that's how you would know.

I don't know how many miles you have on the car, but...

Sounds like Fuel Pump /Relay potential...

However, if you never changed the fuel filter, that thing might be clogged up terribly =0

Check fuel pressure. Autozone probably rents a FP tester. Check it off the fuel rail, and there is another valve near the fuel filter you can check it off of. I would check the other stuff below before I checked FP though.

I see you run an MBC, so I'm assuming you have a vac/boost gauge. Are you holding proper boost? Proper vac at idle?
Double check your lines... hell maybe the boost gauge line came loose off the vac tree.

Does sound like fueling, but also sounds like a vac leak as well. I swear, vac leaks are number one problem for most newer members. I see you have Samcos, but is that just IC hoses, and you have original vacuum hoses? If so... replace ASAP.

PS, I grew up in Mendon.

for starters, yes i am holding proper vac/boost. i have all samco hoses and vac lines were recently replaced. i did an entire run down of all vac lines on the car today, and no leaks of pop offs. i uses a scan tool today and no new codes than usual. the problem got progressively worse. my thoughts fuel pump?? only thing autozone is out of that stupid test kit

ok so today i finally got to do a fuel pressure test. came out good, it was around 41lbs. so here is what bothering me. i did a more in depth look in to my intercooler pipes and what i found was a brown milky liquid everywhere. i looked inside the top of my intercooler and i can see like bubbles and more of that crap. this does not look good to me. Turbo leaking oil into lines causing cloggs??? Help would be great

Some oil in the pipes is normal for our cars. In fact, the bottom of our intercooler is factory-produced with a small pinhole for the excess oil to drain out (And on to the top of the splash guard). If it makes you worried, wipe everything down and see how quickly it returns. Do seem to burn oil, visually at the exhaust or do you need to top off the pan after a less-than-usual amount of miles?
