textar yellows.

i'd stay away from the mintex red box, since I couldn't get them to stop squealing no matter what I tried.

Thanks..

The track pads we use on the ZO6 are filthy... but for the street the Textars are very dirty compared to the Hawk HPS pads i have used.

Like pocket Asian said, reds were the only ones that didn't squeal. Here is a link to the pads, on IPD's site.

Pads

Part number with Porsche: 928-351-949-02 or 993-351-949-0, cheapest I saw them was around $75, but the place was out of stock. Local dealer carried them for what IPD is asking, $150.

BTW, look for pads that fit a 993 turbo and they will fit your calipers.

Bendix pads are decent for the money. And I beat the hell out of them. I also have the damper kit so squealing is for the most part a non issue.

zero squeal/noise from the pads IPD supplies with the BBK. Excellent stopping power. Average brake dust.

Yup, it's what I went to after trying on the squeal kit and then the Volvo brake lube.

I've got the Textar yellows. Stop well, no noise, but crazy dust! Worse than OEM Volvo pads...
