The springs look good... Just as low as my iPd springs.
how much gap is there between the bottom of your car, and the road? just curious.

its probably a good thing you didnt go much lower. because as IPD-lucky stated, the driveshafts are really hurting after 2"

No one has proof to whether or not this is true.
There are a lot of people who have been running more than 2'' drop here with no negative side affects, other than poor ride quality.

I'm running IPD springs and it's not nearly as low as that, but that could be due to the longer strut columns of the bilstein HDs. No Axle related issues and I doubt if I drop it another 1" that anything would happen either except a harsher ride quality. I do have some KW coilovers in my garage so I might experiment on slamming it a bit more with the IPD springs.

Lowering your car past 2" doesn't mean instant death to your Cv's but as a retailer we have to be conscious of anything that could reduce the longevity of a part due to our product. So in an effort to prevent this type of issue we stopped at 1.75" drop. At 2" the CV angles I measured were getting into, and in some cases past, the maximum allowed working angle as spec'd by the manufacturer. So while you can certainly run a car that low, CV shaft longevity will be shortened.

Just because I'm curious, I'm running TME springs, which are different from the springs IPD is selling now -- what's the difference?

Tme's are approx 1.25 inch drop where Ipd is 1.75 inch drop
Ipd springs are approx 15% stiffer than Tme and were designed with Bistein HD valving in mind.

Talk about IPD springs, I do have a question about them. When I was installing them on my car, I noticed that the springs were a tad shorter compared to the Bilstein HD struts, even with the cross-shaped bolt installed. You mentioned that the IPD springs were designed with Bilstein HD Valving in mind, although I haven't had any problems with this set up, I sometimes hear some nasty spring back going over uneven road.
