Someone finally made Pegs that I like! Those look great, nice idea and good to see that you found a shop able to do it well.

Yeah, I actually got them repaired at Unionrim.com (for you local guys) in Toronto Canada. Outstanding job, wasn't so sure at first if they could pull it off, but they definately look like quality out of the factory(but better)

Anyway, more pics later on the car. Need to do a wash and some tire cleaning :D

lol yeah.. did them last year, but that was when they were out of the calipers. Complete disassembly and then painted each piece separately, so no issues here :D

That was JKMachine, he and I were in Germany at the same time. He had the back areas painted blue to match his sonic R, but he did not shave the front. I believe the shaving adds a nice effect.

OK. Now that we have seen them on the car............How much? I tried to get a small bend taken out of a wheel and everyone I called around Ontario was silly expensive. I can't even imagine how much this was.

They look great though. What happened to your front R bumper and the black trim in front of the doors?

$560 for the whole ordeal which included tire install and balancing which was $80 (I gave it to him since cheaper places often do a lousy job and damage the rims).

So the cost to machine & paint all for wheels were $480(120 each). So given the cost of the whole thing, it costed me $675 for these rims, + new tires 215/45/17 _ installation. Not so bad..

No R bumper because it's not an R, It's a 97 GLT. I just happened to have the R spoiler after getting a good deal on it. The mini trims on the fenders were an experimental paint job, while trying to find matching paint color to match the faded original paint. There's a bunch of these I have in store cosmetically for this car. I have an S70 rear bumper and front bumper(Non-R, that's mated to an 850), all sitting in my garage that needs to be installed.

TYPO: There's a bunch of THINGS I have in store cosmetically for this car. I have an S70 rear bumper and front bumper(Non-R, that's mated to an 850), all sitting in my garage that needs to be installed come spring.
