I thought that's what the plan was, to meet somewhere near Toledo. But I will defer to the veterans (and Ohio turnpike informed) for that call.

I'm sure you guys will all hook up somewhere south of Chi-town or just inside the Indiana border somewhere. That would make the most sense for sure.

Yes, for the Chicago crew, or those meeting up with the Chicago crew, may I suggest we meet just inside the Indiana border off the freeway (I-80/94), at like Exit 3, Indianapolis Boulevard (US 41 South) at the Cabela's right next to the freeway. Easy on/off the freeway. From here to Toledo, its like 3.5 hours.

Seems like a good spot to me. Are there any gas stations right by there?

Yes, pretty much right across the street from Cabelas where we should meet. Hell, while waiting at Cabelas, I can get any last minute camping supplies that maybe needed for the weekend.

lolol...you guys need a Tim Hortons down there...lol. If it's 3.5 hrs from there to Toledo; 5-5:30am departure would work perfectly. Our plan is to hook up with you guys on the Pike at the first stop after I280 between 9 and 10.

Oh, WTF!!! What if I was a duck hunter and needed some last minute duck decoys, some extra .22 ammo for the day or some Cabelas beef jerky, guess I'd be screwed then. The hours definitely don't cater to the customer base. :)

Hey there Jeff...we'll meet ya Glacier Hills for sure buds...I know that rest area pretty good. With the amount of cars that we are bringing along...the rest area would probably be best to meet at for sure.

So which car are ya bringing? Is the T5-R a wagon?

I'm guessing more are coming than are on the above list?

T5-R is a sedan. It's actually been stored in my garage the past 2 (maybe 3?) years. I started on the PCV and didn't get around to finishing it until last fall. It's running great now, but I need to get the roof and spoiler repainted (clear coat flaked) and sell it. If I get that done before Carlisle, I will drive that. If not, I will be in the S70. By that time it will be all cleaned up and shiny, with an R bumper and Titans, hopefully tints. It's all depending on how much time I have to get stuff done!

So is this a Gumball style drive over to there?

Ya, hopefully we will have more coming...that list is basically the Chi-town guys. There will be a bunch of us coming in from Canada as well...the list for that is in the ECC thread, but most of the guys are slackers and haven't signed on yet...lol.

I love the T5-R's...it is the car that got me hooked on Volvos...I'd kill for a wagon in the fold!!!

As for the drive...we will have a good number of us this year hopefully, so we will have to pick our spots for speed testing...lol. The tunnels in PA work good. Last year there were a lot of sneaky coppers along the way...very good hiding spots!!! With the potential numbers that we will have...we will be a serious heat score for the coppers. We could have close to 20 cars this year...maybe more.
