Those are just generic sizes they get from who knows where. No one at Crutchfield has ever gone out and test fitted speakers in every make and model, they just expect you to believe they did.
Nothing fit's "perfectly" in the 850 locations, but 5.25 is about as close as you're going to get for the front doors.

what do you think about just replacing the HU? Big difference? At least from crutchfield I can get the free receiver harness.
