I would like to add factory fog lights to my 1998 S70. Are the wires already installed and I just need lights and a switch? Has anyone done this already?

you need a J relay and another headlight relay, a switch, fog lights, and mounting hardware. fairly simple, I did mine a few years ago.

To elaborate on that a little bit:

In the relay panel under the driver's side of the dash you need to add a 213 Relay and a J Relay. I have a .pdf with detailed instructions. Under the fuse box cover you need to replace your non fog main light control relay with one that is fog ready.

At that point you add the switch, the assemblies, take the fog wire clips out of their dummy plugs under each side of the front bumper and you're good to go.

The whole Genuine Volvo fog light kit for your car is somewhere between 200 and 250, pretty good deal IMO. That's the route I took.

Got a big cock? Let me see it!

Any chance of you placing this PDF where we can find it? There's enough cars in the local junk yard for me to probably find the bits I'd need.

adding fog lights to my 95 850 base. Sourced a grey 104/108 relay, white/green 213 relay, j relay and a switch.
Installed everything but the fogs. put the negative battery cable back on. no fogs installed yet.
Switch is working, I tried it on another car with fogs.
now i turn the ignition to pos II and press the switch and nothing happens on my car.
So either the relay is bad or, another crazy idea, I need actual fogs to close the circuit.
anyone could comment?
