Just doing some work on the daily beater so I figured I would give a few posts about the projects as they come along.

The first thing I needed to do before work began on the car itself was fix the toasted wiring harness.

I used 2 my bad harness along with a generic harness that had all my wire colors so I wouldn't have to use only red and black. This way someone could open the harness up for trouble shooting if needed.

Anyways, my mismatch of new and good old came out looking like this.

The biggest challenge was making an all new injector wiring harness as the old one was totally destroyed from age. You can also see I used lindseys speed/ref sensor harness.

Started on the bottom end of the motor..

Plastigage

Clearance

Factory calls for .020 - .098mm
My plastigage gave me just about a perfect .076mm so I was happy with that considering I had to get the crank polished out on STD bearings.

(note) cammera angle on measuring kinda makes it look a bit different then it did in person.

Assembly lube!

Very nice , my one neighbor is working & owns 2 of these 928S models. we did a highway pull back when I had the ST tune and we both were dead even. But thats when the 928S was stock. Now I know the thing is fully rebuilt & beefed with I dont know what. But I did hear him fire it up over the winter. I dunno if its because it sits in the garage , but the thing sounds naaaaaaassssty.

I want to see pictures of yours.......

I would love to see pics. I have a 1977 924 behind my garage. Everybody tells me its the best place for a 924, I think otherwise.
Show me some inspiration.

I like the cars I just can't stand those interior's(pre 85.5). I had an 85.5 944 back in high school, after i sold my 260Z.
