Right now I am running the 35w 6000k HIDs from SharpHID in my stock headlights. I like the color and the way it looks. I am getting an R bumper and putting in fogs, but want opinions on what I should thrown in them. I was them to be functional, but someone told me Volvo fogs suck at putting out light. I know 4300 is the best light output, but should I match them to my headlights?

If it was me, I would go either 4300k or 3000k. But that's just me

Kinda glad you've posted this poll. I'm in the same boat. I have 6000k hids in the headlights, and just installed fogs and having a difficult time deciding between 3000k and 4500k. Good luck.

Thanks for the input everyone. I was already leaning towards the 4300k and that's what I'm gonna go with now. Now I need to think what to do with my highs.... HID's are kinda pointless for flashing anyone, but would they even be beneficial for driving once they warm up?

For your hi beams, buy these. I have them in my 850 and they're amazing. That's the cheapest place to buy them. VERY bright, white light. 9005 = Hi=beam BTW :P

To answer your question about HID hi-beams... yes they're pointless for flashing since they have to warm up and yes, they would be beneficial for nighttime driving. Are they practical for hi-beams? You make the call. If it was me, I would get those Hella Off-Road 100W bulbs. They put out TONS of very usable, white light and I couldn't be happier with them.

Thanks, I might give them a try! Do they seem to last long? Worst thing about spending that much on bulbs is they don't seem to last as long as cheaper ones... :(

I've had 'em in my car for almost 2 years now and they work great. Just for a point of reference, you will spend more on Sylvania Silverstar Ultra hi-beam bulbs than $40, and the Hella Off-Road bulbs will kick them to the ground and beat them with a hose

Not really any point in even having them unless you choose 4300k.

Really bright H7 bulbs for your high beams:
http://store.candlep...raulhiouh7.html
These are 2100 lumens, standard H7 bulbs are about 1400 lumens, and drop right in to the stock holder. I'm probably getting a set for my high beam (to go in my Hella projectors Posted Image)

Buy these instead for your hi-beams. They're Hella Off-Road 100w bulbs. Ive had them in my car for almost 2 years and they're the best hi-beams on the market. And for the price, you can't complain B)
