Yeah...well, to be fair, in additions to monitoring via OBD, we'd need to standardize as many variables as possible - which means using the same driver in all cars.
So, I'm manning up, taking one for the team, and volunteering to come beat on each of your cars in an effort to get the best times from it. (it's a dirty job, but someone has to do it)
I'll just need each of you to cover airfare and hotel accomodations - oh, and sign a waiver releasing me from liability too.

I've been doing this for a while, and people make fun of it. lol. Though I usually do 50-70 or 70-90. But it's the same idea (in gear accel).
I'd say 4k to 6k would be ideal, and allow both auto and manual guys to compete. You don't need to compensate for the difference in gearing - the results show what kind of an impact those variables have on performance.

If you get this 5 Hz GPS receiver for about 65$ http://cgi.ebay.com/...=item3caafcab48
And download racechrono for free for either your smartphone or laptop... http://www.racechrono.com/ and you can customize any speed bracket you want measured.
You'd be in business for a whole lot less

Yeah thanks. I forgot that you told me about this back in January.
Now that the weather is getting better, I think that I'll see if I can get it to work with my phone and laptop

unsure wich car this might affect ... Last but not least, the Interceptor will measure 0-60 times, as well as 1/8 and 1/4 mile time and speeds. This is accomplished through a simple menu selection. This function is not available on the ISO based (older imports) due to slower bus speeds.
but works in my 01
